Alternative: If you can't beat them with the law – beat the table!
Or, put another way:
“If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with B.S.”
Or, put another way:
An Attorney will pound opponent with facts unless he has no facts
then he will pound opponent with law, and should he have neither
facts nor law the table will bear the brunt of his pounding.
